Havana: Pope Francis met Fidel Castro on Sunday at the Cuban revolutionary leader’s home in Havana, after an outdoor mass attended by tens of thousands of people in the capital.

The two men held a “friendly and informal conversation” for about 40 minutes, Vatican spokesman Reverend Federico Lombardi said.
