A few months after Entourage creator Doug Ellin was reportedly inches from the finish line on a screenplay, the film has gotten the go-ahead from Warner Bros. Ellin will direct, and the cast is beginning to cut deals. “That’s about as far as the studio has gotten at this point, and there is no start date,” Deadline reports. If we’re following the Sex and the City model, this might take two films before we know if it’s a good idea.

If the movie you’re supporting for the best picture Oscar is not named Argo, it’s officially time to start panicking.
The widely-publicized first scene released from Ashton Kutcher’s jOBS biographical feature on Steve Jobs is said to be “not close” to the actual relationship between Jobs and Stephen Wozniak, according to Wozniak himself. The film will be shown at the Sundance Film Festival, with Kutcher and co-star Josh Gad appearing at the Macworld conference next week to promote the picture.
